Promoting Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion in our community is at the forefront of Sonja Wiley’s efforts. She is on the founding committee of the SEC Business Schools Diversity Officers. Wiley is also a lead professor for the Young Entrepreneurs Academy, which strives to unlock the potential of Baton Rouge’s young, aspiring entrepreneurs.

As a recently tenured professor, Sanaz Aghazadeh is active both in and out of the classroom. In addition to research and teaching, she regularly leads LSU student teams in national internal auditing competitions. Aghazadeh's recent research examines auditors' judgment and decision-making behavior.

The LSU E. J. Ourso College of Business is pleased to introduce an array of new faculty members for the 2024-2025 academic year. These new additions bring renowned expertise to the college in a variety of areas, including economics, finance, management, marketing, entrepreneurship and information systems.

Dr. Yingmei Cheng, a renowned scholar in financial economics, will serve as the next Lloyd F. Collette Endowed Chair of Financial Services, the LSU E. J. Ourso College of Business announced Monday.
