Submitting Proposals for Committee Review
All Faculty Senate Courses & Curricula Committee proposals must now be submitted electronically through Modern Campus Curriculum. Additional information and resources are available at the following link:
As part of this transition, paper proposal submissions will be discontinued this fall following training and implementation for each college. The implementation schedule is available on the Modern Campus Curriculum website.

Current Faculty Senate C&C proposals are being reviewed for the 2026–2027 academic year and General Catalog.

General Catalog Effective Dates for Approved Proposals
- New courses: Effective the next immediate semester after approval from Academic Affairs.
- Changes or course drops: Effective the next immediate semester or the following academic year after approval by Academic Affairs, depending on the nature of the change.
- Curricular additions and changes: Effective the next academic year after approval from Academic Affairs and, if applicable, the Board of Supervisors or Board of Regents.
Important Dates
- December 1, 2025:
All department-level proposals must be submitted by this date for the 2026–2027 General Catalog. The submission process will close at this time and reopen in April 2026. - February 1, 2026:
Proposals for inclusion in the 2026–2027 General Catalog must be fully approved, with all required signatures obtained by this date to guarantee inclusion. - April 15, 2026:
The 2027–2028 General Catalog curriculum cycle opens. Electronic submissions resume at this time.
