Her narrative short films BAD THINGS and THE LETTER E did the indie film festival circuit and won awards at Bend Film, Sidewalk Film Festival, Women Texas Film Festival, Deep in the Heart Film Festival, and Austin Revolution Film Festival. She is currently in production on a documentary project about LGBTQIA+ activism in the state of Florida.

Mira currently works as an editor on both documentary and narrative films. She came up in the film world as an assistant editor, working on multiple Ross McElwee projects and on documentaries that premiered at SXSW and Tribeca. She was also the Supervisor of Digital Media at the Smithsonian Channel, where she oversaw the development of an iPad app that was nominated for both a SXSW Interactive award and a Webby.

She holds an MFA in Film Production from the University of Texas at Austin and a BA in Linguistics from Harvard.
