Interstride is an online platform that supports students interested in working internationally, whether that is international students here in the US, or domestic students seeking opportunities abroad. A powerful tool, Interstride offers resources for career opportunities, networking, immigration resources, and guidance on making professional and cultural transitions.

After creating an account on the LSU Interstride page, you can connect with employers,
alumni, and other current students and professionals with a focus on global opportunities.
For international students, Interstride is particularly helpful for its resources
on how to navigate the complex processes of Curricular Practical Training (CPT), Optional
Practical Training (OPT), and H-1B visa sponsorship. Positions on the job board can
be searched and sorted by whether a company has a history of hiring international
interns and employers, and even if they have recently sponsored H-1B visas. Domestic
students who want to explore global career opportunities will find the resources for
developing cross-cultural competencies and finding international work and internship
