Photos/Video: President Wade Rousse Begins First Week Building Connections Across LSU

November 24, 2025

President Wade Rousse’s first week at LSU was filled with energy, connection, and spirit.

He kicked off his tenure by attending the LSU Alumni Association’s scholarship event, where he met hundreds of new Tigers and their families.

Throughout the week, he spent time speaking with students across campus, engaging with university leadership, and learning more about the work happening across LSU. He capped off the week in true Tiger fashion — cheering on LSU at the game against Western Kentucky.
